CAREER NOTES:
Hellen Mugo started running road races in Italy with solid results in 2009 and moved up to the half marathon distance the same year. She made her marathon debut in Belgrade with a win and followed with another win and personal best time in Carpi at the Maratona d'Italia Memorial Enzo Ferrari. As a Boston tune-up she raced in Dubai earlier this year.

PERSONAL NOTES:
Mugo’s full name is Hellen Wanjiku Mugo. She trains with Dr. Gabriel Rosa in Kenya and in Italy.
